Who we are

SMRTWEBWORKS (“we,” “us”) builds websites for local businesses. We’re based in Nashville, Tennessee, and serve businesses nationwide. This policy explains how we handle information on smrtwebworks.com.

Information we collect

Information you choose to give us. When you fill out our form, call us or book a meeting, you may give us:

your name and business name;
phone number and email address;
city, state and other location details;
information about your business, including its type and services;
links, such as your Google Business Profile, website or Facebook page;
whether you prefer email or text, and the best time to call;
anything else you include in a message or service request.

Information sent with the form. Our form also records which page it was sent from, the website that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, “utm_source”), if any. This helps us know how you found us.

Technical and security information. Our website runs on Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure, Cloudflare processes basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and block abuse. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies for this purpose.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We do not currently use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or any advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we don’t use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll update this policy before or when it goes live.

How we use information

to respond to your inquiry;
to build the website concept you requested;
to provide services you purchase;
to schedule meetings;
to communicate with you as a prospect or client;
to route leads submitted through websites we build for you, where you’ve asked us to set that up;
to keep our website running properly;
to prevent fraud, spam and security problems;
to comply with legal requirements.

Text messages (SMS)

If you choose text as your preferred contact method, we may use your phone number to text you about your inquiry or project. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. We do not sell or share phone numbers for others’ marketing.

Booking a call

If you book a call through our Google Calendar booking link, Google processes the information you enter, such as your name and email, under Google’s own privacy policy, and shares it with us so we can hold the meeting.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and provide the services you ask for. These may include our website infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), our form provider, our calendar, email and text-messaging providers, and, for client projects, CRM, booking or other integration providers you’ve asked us to connect. They may process information only as needed to provide their services.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

We don’t sell personal information

SMRTWEBWORKS does not sell personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as needed to respond to your request, provide services, maintain business records or meet legal obligations. When it’s no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Children

This website is for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
