Ownership

It’s your website.

Your website is built in accounts you control. We help you create and configure your own Cloudflare account, connect your own email and contact information, and set everything up so you are not dependent on SMRTWEBWORKS to keep the site online.

You own the website. You control the account. You can move it, change it, transfer it or have someone else work on it later.

No agency lock-in.

We do not hold your website behind a monthly retainer. Once everything is configured, the site is designed to keep operating without requiring an ongoing SMRTWEBWORKS subscription.

Your domain

Lead delivery

Leads go where you already work.

When someone requests a quote or contacts you through the website, the lead can be delivered directly to your email and, where configured, sent by text. Higher-tier setups can also connect to compatible booking systems or the CRM you already use.

You should not have to learn a completely new dashboard just to receive a customer inquiry.

Optional third-party services, such as booking software, CRM software or text-messaging services, may have their own fees.

A change is a reasonable adjustment: copy, photos, business information, links, or a minor layout or content tweak. Major redesigns, completely new functionality or new pages outside your package may need a separate quote.

What “Google-ready” means.

We organize your services, location, contact information, hours and business details so search engines and AI tools can understand what your business does and where you work.

That includes Google as well as tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity. No honest company can guarantee rankings or recommendations. Our job is to make the information clear, structured, crawlable and easy to understand.

What counts as a “change”?

A change is a reasonable adjustment to the finished site, such as updating copy, swapping photos, correcting business information, changing links or making a minor layout or content adjustment. Each request counts as one change.

Major redesigns, completely new functionality or new pages outside your package aren’t changes. We’ll quote those separately before doing any work.

Can I add to it later?

Yes. Start with the package and add pages or features whenever you’re ready. Each addition is quoted before we begin.

Are there monthly fees?

There’s no monthly SMRTWEBWORKS website fee. Optional third-party services, such as booking software, CRM software, text-messaging services, paid advertising or specialized tools, may have their own fees. Those are billed by that provider, not included forever in the package price, and we’ll tell you about them before you sign up for anything.

What happens with my domain?

Your first 10 years of domain cost are included with your website build, and the domain is registered with your own account and contact details. When the included period ends, renewal becomes your decision. You are not automatically locked into another SMRTWEBWORKS contract.

Already own a domain? We help connect or transfer your existing domain into the website setup. It stays under your control.

Who hosts the website?

You do, in your own Cloudflare account. We set it up for you in your own account: creating the account, configuring the hosting, connecting the domain, publishing the site and linking your own email and phone information. After setup, the site is designed to keep running without an ongoing hosting relationship with SMRTWEBWORKS.

When do I pay?

Only after you’ve seen your free homepage concept and decided to move forward. You pay the one-time package price, then we hold your onboarding session and finish the site. If you decide not to continue after the concept, you owe nothing.

Does the free concept include revisions?

The free concept shows the overall direction, design and structure of your homepage. It isn’t a finished or fully customized website, and it doesn’t include free revision rounds. Customization happens during onboarding once you decide to move forward.

What if there is a problem?

We want to resolve issues directly whenever possible. Refund requests are considered case by case when we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution or when the delivered work falls outside the promises or guarantees included with the purchased service.

What if I need more than the package covers?

Just ask. Booking, a menu, extra service pages or a connection to software you already use gets quoted before we start, so you always know the price up front.
